@00:22Thank you! Yes, it is. :) Not really. Zbrush is cheaper than 3DS Max, which is around $6,000 I believe.

Just updated the 3D sculpt to the more current design, but kept the throwback style. The file is choppy because I just got version 4R5 and it chugs like sour milk on my laptop, which is 3 years old now. Oh well, you can't win em all, I suppose.

Thank you! Zbrush is better for details and texturing than 3DS Max. The only real difference is Max can only handle so many polys, Zbrush can handle millions of polys, for higher detail. Zbrush doesn't do animation, though, unfortunately.

Hmmm i should consider using zbrush for modelling. Is it difficult to learn?

It's difficult if you don't have help or if you're not used to 3D programs. It's definitely different than 3DS Max and Maya.

I'm using 3ds Max at the moment. I can say that human modelling and stuff like that are really painful :(

It's not that bad, actually. It's just a matter of understanding topology and starting with the basics. Model something mechanical before you try a human. You'll understand poly flow better.

Like a robot you mean? I'm modelling (again) an human because previous experiment were...not all that good. Now i should to the arms but at this point it's becoming a mess xDxD

No, start simple! Model a dresser, a shoe box or something like a table or chair. A computer even presents a fun challenge. Do NOT try humans as a beginner! You need to understand poly flow first! The way you understand poly flow is by modeling simple objects, then you model a human. Character modeling is the most difficult modeling there is. Environments too.

Thank you! Yeah, I'm even surprised! I didn't really touch the body much, so I'm surprised it looks as good as it does! The anatomy is just as good as the comic version, even though it's modeled after the classic style!
